We are excited to share a significant milestone in our mission to simplify healthcare payments. JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced its acquisition of InstaMed Holdings, Inc. (“InstaMed”) on July 24, 2019. InstaMed is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (JPMorgan Chase). We couldn’t be more excited to invest in and expand the InstaMed Network, accelerate our consumer reach and deepen our commitment to innovation.

What does this mean for our customers?
The InstaMed platform, user experience and all our capabilities will remain. The InstaMed Service Guarantee and our commitment to service through our Customer Service and Account Management departments continue to be inherent in our core values.

What does this mean for the InstaMed brand and employees?
InstaMed will operate as we do today but will become an operating subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase. Our offices will remain in Philadelphia and Newport Beach. As co-founders, we will continue to lead the business. Our team is excited and energized for this new chapter.

What’s next?
We set out 15 years ago to simplify healthcare payments for providers, payers and consumers. We have the privilege of working with leading healthcare organizations across the United States to drive electronic transactions, eliminate paper and deliver better healthcare payments experiences for all stakeholders. InstaMed and JPMorgan Chase will fuel the future of healthcare payments together.
